Wellbeing Log is designed for educational institutions to track student wellbeing and attendance. The app collects the following information:
- Student Names: Names of students entered into the system for tracking purposes
- Student Identifiers: Student ID numbers or codes used for identification
- Room Activity: Information about which rooms students are in (wellbeing room, diverse learners room, lunch room)
- Timestamps: Sign-in and sign-out times for student entries
- Reasons: Custom reasons for student entry or exit from rooms
- Head Counts: Aggregate counts of students in each room
1.2 Device Information
The app may collect limited device information for functionality purposes:
- Device ID for CloudKit synchronization
- App version information for support purposes
1.3 Purchase Information
If you make an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction. We do not collect or store payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to purchase transactions.
2. How We Use Your Information
2.1 Primary Purpose
All data collected by Wellbeing Log is used solely for:
- Tracking student wellbeing and attendance
- Managing room head counts
- Generating statistics and reports for educational purposes
- Synchronizing data across devices using CloudKit

- StudentEntryLog.csv - Contains all student entry/exit records
- StudentDatabase.csv - Contains student information
- App preferences and settings
3.2 CloudKit Synchronization
Wellbeing Log uses Apple's CloudKit service for data synchronization across devices:
- Infrastructure: All data is stored within Apple's secure CloudKit infrastructure
- Account: Requires an iCloud account (free tier is sufficient)
- Privacy: Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
- Access: Only devices signed in with the same Apple ID can access synced data
- No External Servers: We do not operate any external servers or databases
3.3 Security Measures
We implement the following security measures:
- Data encryption through Apple's CloudKit infrastructure
- Local data stored in secure app sandbox
- No network transmission to third-party servers
- iOS security features and app sandboxing
4. Data Retention and Deletion
4.1 Data Retention
Student data is retained as long as:
- The app is installed on your device
- You maintain an active iCloud account
- You do not manually delete the data
4.2 Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time by:
- Using the "Clear All Data" function within the app
- Deleting the app from your device (local data will be removed)
- Disabling CloudKit sync in iCloud settings (CloudKit data will be removed per Apple's policies)
5. Children's Privacy
Wellbeing Log is designed for use by educational professionals (teachers, counselors, administrators) to track student wellbeing. The app is not intended for direct use by children under 13 years of age.
If you are an educational institution using this app to track student data:
- You are responsible for obtaining necessary parental consent as required by applicable laws (e.g., COPPA, FERPA)
- You must comply with your institution's privacy policies and local regulations
- You should inform parents/guardians about the use of this app if required by your policies

Wellbeing Log uses the following Apple services:

7.2 No Other Third Parties
We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or any other third-party data collection services.
8. Your Rights
